Task 35: Create a Product Reel in Canva (Using Canva Free)

Step 1: Log in to Canva​
Visit https://www.canva.com.
Log in to your Canva Free account.
Click on “Create a design” on the left sidebar.
Search for and select “Instagram Reel” (1080x1920px canvas).
Step 2: Choose a Reel Template or Start from Scratch​
On the left, click Design.
Browse Instagram Reel templates — choose one that fits your product showcase.
If you don’t find the right one, you can start with a blank canvas.
Step 3: Upload Product Images​
Click Uploads → Upload Files.
Upload your product photos or short videos.
Drag and drop the images into your design.
Step 4: Customize the Layout​
Click on each element to:
Change the product title
Add a subtitle or short description
Update the price or website link
Use “Position” to manage layers:
Right-click → Send to back or Bring to front
Keep text on top of images or shapes
Use corner rounding on shapes if needed (e.g. 0 for square, 51 for round).
Step 5: Add Animation​
Click on any element → Click “Animate”.
Choose an animation (e.g. Rise, Pan, Pop, Fade).
Apply different animations to each product or element.
To remove an animation, click “Clear animation.”
Step 6: Add Background Music (Optional)​
Click “Audio” on the left sidebar.
Select a free music track.
Drag it into your canvas to add background audio.
Adjust or trim the audio to match your reel duration.
Step 7: Extend or Duplicate Pages (Optional)​
To create multiple product slides:
Click “Duplicate Page” at the top.
Add new products in each slide.
You can preview the whole video at the top by clicking “Play.”
