Task 36: Design Instagram Product Reel from Scratch Using Canva (Free)

Step 1: Start a New Instagram Reel Design​
Go to https://www.canva.com and log in.
Click “Create a Design” → search for “Instagram Reel.”
Select Instagram Reel (1080 x 1920 px) to open a blank canvas.
Step 2: Add Background and Title​
Choose a background color or image from the left panel.
Click Text → Add a Heading and type your title (e.g. My Shop).
Center the title on top. Adjust font size to ~70px.
Step 3: Add a Shopping Cart Icon (Optional)​
Click Elements → Search “Shopping Cart.”
Choose a free icon and drag it near the title.
Resize and position it on the right side.
Step 4: Add Website URL at the Bottom​
Click Text → Add a subheading.
Type your website (e.g. www.myshop.com).
Center it at the bottom. Make the text bold and increase font size.
Step 5: Design the First Product Box​
Go to Elements → Shapes → Square.
Add a rectangle to act as your product box background.
Change the color (e.g. white) and round the corners (24–51 px).
Add a product image:
Use Uploads → Upload your image.
Resize and place it inside the product box.
Add product title:
Click Text → Subheading → e.g. “Product 1”
Place text inside the box. Adjust size and color.
Add a price tag:
Go to Elements → Search “Price Tag.”
Resize and place it near the product.
Add text like $100 and adjust placement using arrow keys.
Step 6: Group & Duplicate for More Products​
Hold Shift and select all elements (box, image, text, price).
Click “Group” to make them one unit.
Click “Duplicate” 3 times to create 4 total product sections.
Update titles to “Product 2”, “Product 3”, and “Product 4”.
Replace images and price tags as needed.
Step 7: Add Animation to Your Elements​
Select any element → Click “Animate”.
Choose from styles like Rise, Ink, Pan, Typewriter, Wipe, etc.
For full animation:
Group all product elements and apply animation to the group.
Or apply different animations to image, title, and price separately.

Website URL: Typewriter
Step 8: Add Background Music (Optional)​
Click Audio tab on the left.
Choose a free music track and drag it into the timeline.
Adjust or trim as needed.
Step 9: Download & Upload to Instagram​
Click Share → Download → MP4 Video.
Save to your computer or phone.
Upload to Instagram Reels.
Add caption, hashtags, and your call-to-action (e.g., “Link in bio!”)
